World  Martial Arts Masters Association Hall of Fame founder Master Mark Gerry started his martial arts training in 1976. Sifu received his first black belt in 1983 and now holds the rank of 7th degree black belt in kajukenbo and has the rank of "master" 5th dan in Tae Kwon Do. Sifu mark is head master of KMA in Hayward, California under Grandmaster Sim and Master Jimmy Willis. Master mark is a certified master under the World Okinawan Shorin-ryu Karate-do Kobudo and Kobudo Association was awarded "Sifu of the Year" for 2003. He also trains with Grandmaster Sid Campbell at the Shorin-ryu Honbu (headquarters) dojo in Oakland, California.

In establishing the World Martial Arts Association Hall of Fame President Mark Gerry deemed it an integral aspect of the structure to have a select Board of Advisors to assist in the nomination process for induction. He has created the board to evaluate the credentials, authenticate verifiable ranks and provide invaluable guidance to take the WMAMA organization into the 21st century.

Presently a Board of Trustees are being established to assist in the day-to-day affairs of the Association.


He  is of
WorldBlackBelt.com and also certified in "America in Defense," cabin crew self-defense and is a certified instructor in world black belt's America in defense program and world black belt's frequent flyer courses. He is also a fully certified Travel Marshal.

 


Master Mark Gerry trains in and teaches kyusho-jitsu, the
George Dillman method of pressure point fighting and knock out techniques under grandmaster ed lake and is a member of DKI, Dillman karate international. He is a 7th degree black belt in the DKI organization.


As a supporter of all styles and origins, Master Mark trains with and supports
Grandmaster Eric Lee, helping him with his many demos and seminars. Master Mark  Gerry is the President of the World Martial Arts Masters Association.
